A blessing is a consequence of doing what God commands. When God called Abram to the promise land, He promised to bless him. Happy blessings come to those who love and fear the Lord God. Blessings in the bible were given when someone had done something worthy of giving thanks. To be blessed means positioning yourself to be blessed. You can pray for a blessing, but that doesn’t mean you will receive it right away. God sometimes holds His blessing back until we are ready to receive it. Position yourself to receive favor from God. Pray, read God’s Word, make time to talk to God, and you will be blessed.
If you need a financial blessing, be a giver and it shall be given to you. God blesses those who are faithful. You are His child, and He wants the best for you. He will fight for you, and protect you because you are a child of God. God has promises throughout the bible for each one of us. Live by faith and speak positive words over your life. If you you are weak, say you are strong, and the Lord will be gracious.
If you have health problems, ask God for healing, and believe you will be. If you are about to make some important decisions, ask God in prayer to guide you. If you smoke and can’t quit on your own, ask God to give you strength. You may not stop smoking tomorrow, but if you seek His help through prayer on a daily basis, you will start to smoke less and less until you no longer have a desire to smoke at all. Victory over addiction is possible with God beside you.
Believers who walk closely with God are willing to obey when prompted. Stay focused on God and He will guide you to success. God provides people with jobs and gives us the talents to perform those jobs. God will provide for you, but be a giver as well. If God has blessed you with financial support, do something for someone else. Be determined to obey God and the blessings will come.
Take charge of your destiny or someone else will. Don’t worry about things you can’t control, instead let God handle those things for you. You have the favor of God working for your future, working for you day and night on your behalf, nothing is impossible. You might think things look bad right now, but I promise that God is already working things out for the good. Don’t focus on temporary circumstances; God can change anything in your future. Stay positive and say to yourself, God is blessing me now and will bless my future. God will lift your burdens when the time is right. You are born to prosper with God’s help. Let no one come between you and God, you are born to be blessed.
