I’m here to tell you that you have the power to change your thoughts and your destiny. Start today, declare that the favor of God surrounds you and every part of your life.
First thing in the morning, speak blessings over your life. Make a list of all the things you would like to change about yourself. Next make a list of affirmations to help you change theses things.
Example of how to write your own affirmations:
I am blessed to be confident and strong.
I am blessed to have the ability to overcome life’s difficulties with a positive attitude.
I am blessed that my life is full of happiness and peace.
I am blessed to have the ability forgive those who hurt me.
I am blessed the Lord, my Father loves me.
It doesn’t matter if you feel confident today, your prophesizing your future. Read your affirmations throughout the day, everyday. You must develop a strong level of faith. God says if you believe, nothing is impossible to you. When you start reading your affirmations every day, you will start to become what you believe. Remember, you can do anything God says you can.
Pray, ask God to restore happiness and peace to your life. Ask God to heal you.
Prayer Examples:
● God, change me, give me the guidance to be happy.
Help me cope with life. Amen
● God, help me focus on my future. Lord, give me strength
and shield me. Help me be all that I can be. Amen
● God, I pray to be filled with happiness and peace. Help me
live a life based on faith. Help me deal with the things I can
not change. May you watch over me day and night. Amen
Trust God rather than you own feelings. This requires faith, believing what you can not see or understand.
Have a daily routine. I read my prayers and affirmations throughout the day. Sometimes I may have problems with anxiety. I make sure that I take time to relax. I pray over what is causing stress in my life. I know God hears my prayers, and will answer them at His appointed time. I walk in faith, not by sight.
Do you have issues with your childhood, marriage, job, or addictions? If you had abusive parents, the first thing you need to do is forgive them. This does not mean you have to forget, it simply means you are forgiving them. Don’t let someone else’s negative behavior effect your life today. Your parents may have had issues they never addressed. Some people don’t realize how much their actions effect your life. Don’t let these issues carry over into your life.
You are loved by God, you have a Father that loves you, cares about you, and listens to you every day. The most important relationship you will ever have is between you and God. Create the life you desire. Use the power within to change your thought process, your beliefs, and your values.
You are not alone; many people suffer from depression. Some do not know why they are unhappy, or they choose to ignore the signs. How we handle the trials in our life has an impact on our mental well-being. Positive thinking, and your faith in God is important to maintain your mental health. Take control over your thoughts. Replace your negative thoughts immediately with positive ones. Watch for small blessings throughout your day and take the time to thank God for each one of them.
Sometimes medication may be needed. You may have a chemical imbalance. However, be careful not to use pills as an answer to your happiness. This can actually lead to more problems. If your depression is severe, follow your doctor’s advice, seek counseling, and talk with your pastor.
Your own words have an impact on your future. Be careful never to speak negative words about yourself. Don’t let other people speak negative about your life. God said He will take what was meant for your harm and use it for your good. Expect God’s favor and thank Him even before they happen. Your faith activates the Power of God.
Bless people in your life or those who cross your path throughout the day. It’s hard to focus on your own problems when you are helping someone else with theirs.
If you obey God and trust Him, you will start to live a happier and more full-filling life.
Psalm 34:19
A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from all.
Proverbs 16:3
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.
